Lost Rail Golf Club: Short Course

I had the chance of a lifetime to play at Lost Rail Golf Course, and it was an unforgettable experience. The course is absolutely stunning, perfectly maintained fairways, fast greens, and a layout that’s both challenging and fun. Every hole feels unique and thoughtfully designed, with views that make you slow down and appreciate where you’re at. The staff was welcoming and professional, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. You can tell a lot of pride goes into keeping the course in top condition. Hat tip to all the staff I came in contact with! Lost Rail isn’t just a round of golf, it’s an experience. I feel lucky I had the opportunity to play here, and it’s something I’ll never forget. Truly a world-class course right here in Nebraska.

We were long time Omaha folks that have been gone since 2002- so when we were in Omaha we played all the usuals including the country clubs at the time and belonged to one of them. Lost Rail is a very unique piece of property that opened up unlike anything else in Omaha. Loved the routing and the golf course. Clubhouse and "halfway" house very cool. Greens can be tough, as can the wind when it is howling. ( Most of the time). Finishing stretch of holes 16-18 is really strong. 16 features a tremendous view of the Elkhorn river valley that extends for 30? miles. All staff very on top of everything and super courteous. This golf course went so far above and beyond my expectations, I was amazed. Phenomenal course with beautiful views, difficult bunkers, and all around challenging shots that make this the best course in the Omaha area.

Great course compared to the public courses in Omaha but not so great compared to public courses in other states. Not much championship golf in Nebraska
