Strange place. I had called to ask about storing my boat over the winter because I had heard that they allow owners to work on their own boats. They confirmed this. I paid them, and everything went smooth as glass. No issues/no complaints from anyone, and most owners were working on their own boats. After the spring launch, I get an e-mail saying I am not welcome back because they prefer customers who pay for work on their boats rather than DIY customers. I asked them if there was anything I did that was against the rules. They said no. I will add, that everything I did to my boat, I cleared with marina staff prior to. I painted the bottom of my boat (cleared by staff,) replaced some electrical switches (cleared by staff,) just basic stuff. Had I known they would have had issue with it... I would have paid for the work to be done. Not sure where the disconnect was.

Launched my boat there recently and when I started it up, got an alarm. Walked in to see if a mechanic could give me an insight and they took the time to help me trouble shoot it to get it on the water. Great customer service and very helpful. It was my first time there and based upon that experience, I'm going to have my service done there in the future. Thank you!

Top notch parts department. No Honda dealers in my area and came down here praying they would have some niche parts. They had everything I was looking for and even caught a few things I hadn't thought about. Motor is in perfect shape now, will absolutely be ordering through them in the future.

First year at this marina , Shawn worked with me on getting the right spot for my boat. My father is 84 and long docks may be a problem in near future . Staff has been great, great water level even at low tide, and they have really made us feel welcome. They have several events each year potlucks and been great to meet my niebors, seems like a great crowd and will be back next year. Just A update... 6 years later , still very happy , have made great friends out of our dockmates . The crew and GBM has been great , and it's worth the waiting list to get in ...

I really like Great Bays location, service and staff, not to mention their restaurant Lexi's. The launch ramp can be a little hectic at times, but with a little patience you'll be out on the water in no time. I'm currently on the waiting list for a slip, but was told there is a two year wait period. I have my fingers crossed for an opening this upcoming season . Also, they are a certified Honda dealer, I found their prices to be better than most of the stuff I can find on the web, and it's all been in stock when I need it.
