I decided to take my kids here for our first family vacation after a positive experience my husband and I had here 9 years ago. We bought the Kids Club bags for them which we wouldn't get again. One of the toys in the bag was broken and we didn't get much use of the punch card that comes with it. The food in the restaurant was okay. We ordered pickup two of the nights we were there. We really liked the views and the indoor pools. The Teddy Bear mountain stuffed animals felt a bit expensive for what it was. The worst part of the trip was the bed and tvs. The bed was so uncomfortable that I woke up every few hours in pain and could not get a good night's sleep. The TV in the bedroom did not have a working remote so if we wanted to change the channel we had to change it on the TV itself. We never really saw any staff on-site other than the restaurant and the desk to check in for the pool. It was a good first family vacation but I will agree with other reviewers that it could use some updating.

This is a hidden secret for us that we keep coming back to. There is no bad time to go. We've gone during bike week. Middle of summer. Just got back from spending a long weekend there during a blizzard. Zero complaints. Zero issues. This place is an oasis.

Beautiful location and the place looks luxurious from the outside! The bed is a platform and it was as hard as a rock! The millions of dollars invested in this place and they couldn't invest in comfortable beds, 😤????!!! Your back will be sore if you're able to sleep! The TV is outdated and is poor quality, you have to rent a FireStick if you want to watch anything even decent! In room jacuzzi that it took a half hour just for the water to get warm. The bureau has a drawer that would not stay closed, the drawer would not stay closed and people must clean the rooms and no one notices the drawer wide open all the time!? There's only one chair in the room so if there's two of you one will have to sit on the board of a bed! Millions of dollars and not even a comfortable bed! Most people want to sleep on a comfortable bed!!!! The windows have bad drafts and if its windy you'll feel the cold air! Millions of dollars in luxury with no luxury! Someone is living in luxury and its not the patrons. The pictures of the jacuzzi are after using it 2 times! Gross! We were told that if we come back we could ask for a mattress topper, obviously they know the beds are bad. If you have to rent a FireStick and ask for a mattress topper to be comfortable what kind of resort is it!? Should be a hotel!

Honestly, this was a huge disappointment. They advertise an entire gaming section, which was one of the main reasons we chose this place. In reality, only 1 out of 6 gaming stations actually worked, and the front desk had no idea how to fix them or offer any solution. There’s also a paid arcade section, but it was completely out of coins, with none available at the front desk either. The staff overall was noticeably unenthusiastic and unhelpful. They offered a paint activity for kids, which we paid for, but when I asked the staff member running it for a box or any way to safely take the painted items home, the answer was simply no. When we asked if we could leave them there to dry or pick them up later, again no. No alternatives and no effort to help. We were told the ownership has been here for over 30 years, but basic hospitality and guest service clearly haven’t been passed down to the staff. The pool was beautiful and honestly saved the trip. Without it, this stay would have been a complete dud. Food options were also disappointing. There was only one restaurant, despite advertising multiple options, and it served essentially the same food every day. Overall, the amenities promised did not match the reality, and the lack of customer service made the experience even worse.

My family stayed here for the weekend. We stayed in the south location. The view was breathtaking. We enjoyed the smores by the fire and my toddler really enjoyed the kiddie pool area. All of the staff were friendly. We did attend a time share meeting, it was informative but not pushy. The only downfall of the stay was that the resort itself is very dark outside, I would recommend bringing a flash light as there were no lights outside on the patio area outside of our room.
