Friends and I recently stayed at Wentworth By The Sea for a girls getaway. It was fantastic and we enjoyed every moment. The staff at every turn were kind, warm, welcoming and helpful. The moment we pulled up Steve was there to get our luggage and park the car. The dining room staff were great…James, Sawyer, Skye, Debra ….many more took time to engage with us and made us feel like family. The spa was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a resort. The sauna, showers, robes, relaxing rooms were wonderful. Leah, our housekeeper was kind and made sure we had plenty of amenities. We are already planning our return. What a beautiful hotel!

Had a wonderful winter girls weekend at The Wentworth. As a former employee who hadn’t been back since my college days in 2006, returning felt both nostalgic and surprisingly fresh. The charm and warmth I remembered are still very much there, but everything feels elevated and thoughtfully refreshed. From the cozy winter atmosphere to the attentive service, it was the perfect setting to relax, reconnect, and make new memories. So special to see a place I once knew so well and loved so much still doing things beautifully.

Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Because of my health and some weather issues, we spent a lot of time in it watching it snow through the floor to ceiling windows and playing board games in front of the fireplace. We ate at Salt, and also had room service. The food was creative, beautifully presented, and delicious. We had the best brussel sprouts I've ever eaten. Staff were kind, professional, and attentive. We recommend the Wentworth unreservedly. My husband would have liked more evidence of the important history of the Wentworth and the area. (Treaty of Portsmouth)

We had a lovely one night stay at Wentworth. Room was well appointed and comfortable, dinner was delicious, and the pool and hot tub were perfect temperatures. I greatly appreciated the free coffee/cappuccino machine. Shout out to our server at dinner, Ethan. He was fantastic - engaging, knowledgeable, and efficient. One of the best wait staff I have had anywhere! It was a wonderful mid-winter get away, and we would love to return.

My husband and I had never stayed here and we were impressed as soon as we drove up to this Golden Age relic, that has been lovingly preserved. The staff were very accommodating and friendly on every level. I enjoyed a facial by Lindsay which was an hour long relaxing experience. The Salt kitchen restaurant had a great selection of seafood dishes and healthy salads, etc. Our room was on the 4th floor, which gave us a breathtaking view of the surrounding river and ocean. The bathroom was large and elegantly designed with marble floors, etc. Very comfortable bed. We look forward to staying again.
