About the club

Founded in 1996, the River Landing Golf Club is a private golf course located in Wallace, North Carolina. The club was developed by Murphy Family Farms, one of the largest pork producers in the United States. In recognition of the club's opening, the golf course architect Clyde Johnston was hired to build two 18-hole courses—the River Course and the Landing Course. The courses quickly gained a reputation for their diverse and challenging layouts amidst the scenic landscape. By 2000, the club was recognized as a premier golfing location within North Carolina. The River Landing Golf Club is situated within the River Landing residential community. However, golf membership options are not restricted to residents. Benefits include access to both the River and Landing golf courses, practice facilities, clubhouse amenities, fitness center, tennis courts, and swimming pools.
