gorgeous venue! Had the chance to visit with a friend who is a member. Beautiful location and we had the best night!

Hosted our grandfathers memorial service lunch at the yacht club and it was a beautiful backdrop and event space for our family gathering. The view of Lake Erie is beautiful. Parking was easy and space was easily accessible for wheelchair attendees.

We thoroughly enjoyed for a family gathering dinner from out of town. Beautiful view of Lake Erie and the beginning of the Niagara River. Near The Peace Bridge. Lots of ice still melting and making its way down. Nostalgic, great yacht club, great food and drinks, romantic.

The Buffalo Yacht Club, with a storied history dating back to its founding in 1860, stands as one of the oldest yacht clubs in the United States. It was established by a group of sailing enthusiasts in Buffalo, New York, and has since become a prominent fixture in the boating community, not just regionally but nationally as well. Located at the eastern end of Lake Erie, the club has played a pivotal role in promoting yachting and sailboat racing, contributing significantly to the area's maritime culture. Over the years, it has hosted numerous regattas and sailing events, drawing participants and spectators from across the nation. The Buffalo Yacht Club is more than just a hub for competitive sailing; it serves as a social and recreational gathering place for its members and their families. The club offers various amenities, including dining facilities, a marina, and a range of social events throughout the year. These features provide members with opportunities to socialize, dine, and enjoy the waterfront setting. In addition to its main clubhouse, the club often boasts additional facilities such as docking and storage options for members' boats, sailing lessons, and youth programs aimed at promoting sailing among younger generations. These initiatives help to foster a strong sense of community and ensure the sport's future by engaging the next wave of sailors. Membership in the Buffalo Yacht Club is typically attained through an application process, which might include endorsements from current members, reflecting the club's commitment to maintaining a close-knit, community-oriented environment. The Buffalo Yacht Club's long history and continued dedication to sailing and community engagement have made it a venerable institution within the boating world. Its members share a deep passion for the water, making it a vibrant and welcoming place for anyone interested in yachting and maritime activities.

Always a great time, great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Beautiful at sunset and at night. Enjoy their fish fry, although there isn't many French fries with it, but the salads are great and more than make up for it.
