A summer home, camp and boating community in one charming setting, the Hempstead Harbour Club is casually elegant and traditional without being stuffy. It is everything a boater needs in a club with reliable launch service, clean facilities, winter storage and a stunning setting to enjoy time and sunsets with friends and fellow members. It also dispenses with unnecessary amenities substituting a full kitchen and professional grills for a restaurant, a swim dock for a pool and a BYO policy for a bar. It is the perfect summer home away from home.

This has been my family's summer home for over a decade now. Great people, beautiful facility and a refreshing change from sometimes stuffy traditional yacht clubs. Great racing, a fantastic junior program and spectacular views. 5 stars.
