Attended a catered luncheon there this weekend and whereas the place has a lovely atmosphere, I was surprised by the mediocre presentation. The hot food was not served in covered sternos and therefore just lukewarm. They put ice in a beach pail that we had to bend over and grab to put in our water, the beer was placed in a beach cooler. At $100 per person you would expect more. I do not recommend this place. Until they hire new management, save your money and go elsewhere.

I attended a birthday celebration in HYC event space. Upon entering you are transform to a historical club filled with pictures of their onset. Founded in 1883 of the East River & 121 St, it began as a club gathering of sailing enthusiasts along the Harlem river. At a time when the area was transitioning from rural landscapes to an urban hub, the club offered a sanctuary for New Yorkers passionate about yachting. As the city expanded, the club moved from its Harlem roots to its home to City Island. It is worth viewing the walls of the club to fully understand its inception. Of course a review from me will not be complete without mentioning the delicious array of food choices and the outstanding view of cruising. A must see.

Had heard through City Island friends that the Harlem Yacht Club had a terrific brunch. They did, indeed. Friendly staff, great food, beautiful setting.

Amazing place to find calm and Zen, the sunsets here are the best I've seen since going to roade Island. You have to be a member, and I'm lucky enough to know a member who lets me come once in a while, and it is worth every minute....

I love this place! The Vista is beyond beautiful, always gives me peace. Prices are very reasonable & great beer on tap! Bartender Shane is the best, make sure you try the fried shrimp & fries!
