Metropolis Country Club

I’m writing to share some feedback about a recent visit to your country club with the Boys and Girls Club. First, let me say how beautiful the venue is truly stunning. The food was exceptional, and the drinks were delicious. I especially want to give a well-deserved shout-out to the chef, who prepared meals so flavorful that the kids kept asking for more. The culinary team truly made a lasting impression. However, what deeply saddened me during our visit was the demeanor of your Event manager, Mrs. Kathy. While I understand the importance of professionalism and maintaining order, her approach lacked warmth and compassion. The children, many of whom were incredibly excited to be there, were made to feel out of place, as if they didn’t belong. It was disheartening to witness, especially in a setting that should have felt welcoming and inclusive. Kids are kids and no matter the circumstances, they deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. This is especially true during times when many of them may already be facing personal or emotional challenges. A warm smile, a gentle tone, or simply making them feel seen could have gone a long way. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken constructively. The experience was close to perfect in every other way, but the attitude displayed by Mrs. Kathy cast a shadow over what should have been a joyful occasion. I encourage her to lead with more empathy in the future. A little love and kindness can make all the difference.

A wonderful golf course kept in amazing condition by a very well run maintenance crew. Super friendly staff and welcoming members make this a great place to play golf. Oh, and the food is great, too!

This golf course is always in great shape and an all around quality experience. The fairways are wide so if you can keep it straight you can play ok. Plenty of hills, some water and challenging greens. The staff is top notch.
