A no-frills, traditional yacht club that has a long (150+ years) history of catering to sailors in New York. A "real sailors" place.

Great little club which has a focus on people who like to sail, rather than parade, their boats. Clubhouse is small but well kept, with no restaurant which is only reason I didn’t give five. People are nice.

Great location, convenient as a stop to wait for the hell gate tide if you're taking a boat West through LI sound. Everyone I met was very friendly..
