not sure why the negative reviews, had a great time out. course is beautiful. not too busy. very friendly staff. 10/10 hidden gen

Absolutely terrible course, would never waste money on it again. The parking lot is overgrown and the clubhouse looks abandoned on the outside. The layout is nice but the course is in horrible condition. Every green and fairway was in similar condition to this picture or worse. Don’t fall for the pictures they have online!

Place is going to be defunct soon. Parking lot is overgrowing. Clubhouse crumbling. And they don’t do much with the course. Weeds and overgrowth everywhere. Debris on greens and fairways. Sad! Layout is nice, I’m sure it was decent at one time.

I played this course today with two very good friends. We have all played this track at least one previous time within the last 5 years, so we had no illusions about what we should expect. We understood that the course would be minimally maintained and the typical accommodations one might expect, well.... that aint happening. Not here. And that is fine with us. Because we had the opportunity to experience something that is practically unheard of these days. Three dudes, packing a lunch and some cigars, on a perfectly beautiful Sunday morning, set out for 18 holes on a track that navigates its way through the countryside in an absolutely magical fashion. The layout is brilliant! And the craziest part of this whole adventure.... we had the whole course practically to ourselves. Never once were we pushed on pace. It was as relaxing a golf outing as one could possibly imagine. And finally, speaking of imagination. Picture yourself rolling into the parking lot. Perhaps a dozen cars scattered about. The place is practically empty. You grab your sticks, load em onto the cart and head out into the rolling hills of the Columbian countryside. You see no other people around, just native plants and peaceful fauna roaming the mown grasses, enjoying the lakes. In this moment you picture yourself as the lord of the land, the very king if you will. And all this is laid out just for you and your band of merry men. So you can keep your fore caddy and the after round club shining. Ill fill my own flask and polish my own shoes. And head out to OKGC with some likeminded golfing souls. And toast Mr. Jones for the world he helped lay out before me.
