Shattemuc Yacht Club

Shattemuc Yacht Club is a place for all seasons where all are welcome. Boating or poolside in the summer, music and social all year long, popular sailing program for the kids, summer sail regattas, friendly people working together to preserve this idyllic spot on the @Hudson River.

We brought our boat over and joined 40 years ago wanting a club with a strong junior sailing program. The sailing academy was excellent, turning our daughter into a lifelong top sailor. And it’s only gotten better. ⛵️ And Shattemuc is dog friendly. The community at Shattemuc is so lovely that it never occurred us to leave. Ever. It’s our second home. 💖 forever.

Wonderful boating and water sports community on the Hudson. We’ve been members for 10 years and our family truly considers Shattemuc our home away from home :)

We got to know Shattemuc from transient stops over the past few years as we cruised the amazing Hudson River waterway that surrounds the club. The friendliness of club members and the helpful dock masters convince us to become members here and we have loved being part of the members community, taking advantage of the comfortable clubhouse, the river views, enjoyed the Friday evening happy hours (great idea whoever came up with that one!) and which are well attended. Highly recommended!!

Shattemuc has been our 2nd home for over 15 years Aside from the exquisite view, serene surroundings and variety of activities (boating, swimming, bbq, picnics, Friday night Happy Hour & yearly round clubhouse celebrations, it is the membership community I love most Caring, contributing, kind, helpful people!
