Stony Brook Yacht Club

We have been members of the Stony Brook Yacht Club for over 40 years. We have so many wonderful memories of boating and fishing and dining and partying with our kids, grandkids and now our great grands. All of our children have grown up enjoying the beach, the racks on the beach for their small sailboats and kayaks as well as the yacht club holiday events and parties. We have often reserved the facilities for our own private parties. The chef is very fine and the menus always inviting. The services, the personnel and the management are excellent and geared to the membership. The docks and boat area as well as the other grounds are always well maintained. Because of all this goodness, two of our children have become members and a grandson is anxiously waiting for the time when he can. And that speaks to how terrific this club truly is.

What a fantastic low-key yacht club on the water with the character of the colonial age, kind of people, a small setting with smiles and great food, along with some dance music and most of all, allowing us to get on our boat and enjoy the part of living in the now

Went to meet with a friend who is a member, and we sat outside to enjoy the view and weather. The atmosphere and location is beautiful. Had some appetizers, they were OK. Need to go back for a full meal before I can say how good the food is. Service was great.

We had our wedding there and it was spectacular. Beautiful setting, excellent food, fabulous service. Mary Ellen was so easy to work with and made sure our day went off perfectly.

It was breezy, sunny & peaceful. Spent some time there with my favorite boy
