In terms of food, environment and atmosphere, the venue is perfect. When it comes to their staff, that’s another story. I attended a wedding here in November and everything started great… until I heard how the staff and vendors were being spoken to. The woman in charge, Amy, is an absolutely deplorable human being who needs much more than a lesson on how to speak to people. She spoke down to their own staff as if they were peasants… and the way she spoke to vendors… an absolute embarrassment. Every single person who either encountered this woman or overheard her speaking to her own staff was actually embarrassed for her, she clearly has zero self awareness and couldn’t care less what others think of her… she’s an embarrassment to the entire venue ! I couldn’t care less that her and her husband, Barry work together, I honestly feel bad for him and can only imagine the torture he endures with this woman at home. Again, the venue, food and ambiance are amazing… Amy ? Well she deserves to be fired and made an example of in front of the entire staff. She is an embarrassment to such a wonderful venue. Shame on her.

Excellent track! Apologies for the late review, but it's better late than never! Played well enough and was a champion (via play-off, Birdie chip-in on first playoff hole) in division 4 last 05/22/2023 as part of my golf league's summer tourney. Hole # 1 (Sudden death play-off): - First shot: 3 Wood drive landed short of the right side fairway bunker, 236 yards away from the pin. - Second shot: 7 iron pulled left to the left side rough, about 100 yards away. - Third shot: Wedge was mishit again, thin shot that came out hot. I was fortunate that the ball hit a tree branch about 50 yards from the front of the green and ricochet straight down onto the apron, exactly 31 yards / 93 feet away from the pin. - Fourth shot: 9 iron was a perfect chip shot exactly 31 yards / 93 feet away from the pin that rolled into the hole for a Birdie that clinched the win! BTW, shout-out to the superintendent and grounds crew for keeping the course in tip-top condition and also for providing me with a pin flag as my memento from this beautiful course!

I was a member here since 1992 when I paid something like $200 per year as a junior member. I remember the good old days when I played the Bethpage Black in the morning for $16 and came back to Lake Success to play another 18 holes in the afternoon. I left the village of Lake Success in spring 2023 and I haven't played there recently. There were a lot of changes that took place between 1992 and 2023 in the village of Lake Success, demographic change being the most notable one. But excellence of the golf course has not been compromised/changed. And the club head pro Robert was simply the best.

I first visited here when I was looking for a wedding venue and was really impressed with the scenery of the grounds. However, it couldn't accommodate the number of guests we wanted so we ultimately decided on another venue. There was always some lingering thoughts of what if... That all changed when I went there for a graduation dinner recently. What was good: Venue was still well kept. Staff was very attentive. Cocktails and sangria was delicious! What was bad: Bland food. Everything had no taste. Chairs were dirty and had a sticky feel, something similar to feeling in a kitchen when you've cooked with oil. Bathrooms lacked paper towels. I had high hopes and was really excited to experience the venue I couldn't choose and came away disappointed. The other venue I went to wined and dined us to demonstrate how good their food was, and it didn't disappoint!
