Colleton River Club: Pete Dye Course

Outstanding golf courses, both challenging in different ways and in excellent condition. Nick was a bit easier to score on than Dye (self professed not a Dye design fan due to his fussiness with traps that are unnecessary and not in play). Views abound! Finished in 4 hours on both. Clubhouse restaurants also excellent service and food.

Great Outdoor shared areas in the community. Very secure gated community. The golf courses are getting very crowded and slow. Golf Course conditioning not as good as expected, 365 days. Most expensive yearly costs in the region per the local newspaper. Very « country club », smaller number of full time locals so food choices are fairly standard but very good quality, specials well done. Fairly unique with two spacious clubhouses one overlooking river, one Port Royal Sound to ocean with spectacular views. Popular for a special wedding, events are very well run.

What's not to love about my new home club.. great food, beautiful views, alligators....wait... maybe they're crocodiles, I dont really know the difference. Anyways, a great community with friendly neighbors, fantastic food, stunning scenery and so many amenities I hardly know where to start!

One of the most beautiful areas in SC. Super friendly people who reside there. The staff in the club house is amazing. Even security greets like no other. Just so tranquil. Only wish I could afford that kind of home. Beautiful
