I had so much fun sailing at the Pymatuning Sailing Club during the sail camp experience! I took my truck tent and set it up right in their club area. The instructors/captains were all AMAZING, they have such patience and were willing to help us through every step. We learned how to build and tear down the sailboats (I helped build the white boat on the right in the photo and eventually sailed that one solo), how to right the boats and climb back in and it was all done at our comfortability level! I can't wait to go back next year to learn even more! Without the club folks helping with the food we would have starved, they opted to not sail so that the food would be ready for all of us for breakfast and lunch! Thanks all :) ~ Beth

We had a wonderful experience! Thank you everyone at PSC for sharing your knowledge, love of the sport, willing to help, for your patience, delicious food, meeting new friends and most of all one-on-one lessons. Being able to talk openly about our anxieties (capsizing) and to practice intentional capsizing made us realize it is not as frightening as maybe we imagined. We are excited to learn as much as we can about sailing. With time and effort and patience with ourselves we are going to enjoy the journey of becoming a confident sailor. We hope to see you all again next year, if not sooner. To all, we are truly grateful for the opportunity to have learned from such a talented team. Sincerely, Jim & Kim W

Attended a sailing camp there recently. Right away felt welcomed. Low stress, fun friendly atmosphere. They taught kids and adults the basics of sailing. By the third day “non-sailors” were getting around the lake by themselves.

A great private club with an affordable membership and amenities that make weekend sailing easy and fun. Offers a family atmosphere, dry and wet mooring for sailboats, launch ramps, docks, camping, picnic pavilions, running water, restrooms and electric.

Pymatuning Sailing Lessons August 2021: The instructors were blended in the right amount of instruction with actual learning by sailing. Really loved the extensive time on the water. Everyone was very patient and willing to help the first-time sailors like me and my grandson. If you like to learn by doing, I recommend the Pymatuning Sailing Club. Great fun.
