Sylvania Country Club: Sylvania

We had our wedding reception at Sylvania Country Club on September 21, 2024, and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made. From the moment the girls began getting ready in the spacious suite, to bringing our vision to life of a cozy/candlelit ballroom that overlooks the golf course (perfect for sunset photos), every detail was thoughtfully executed. The food was delicious, and the service was great! We felt confident that our day was in great hands, and looking back, we wouldn’t change a thing. I wholeheartedly recommend SCC as a wedding venue - they truly helped make our day unforgettable.

I love the events that this club puts on. My kids have so much fun and they have made a ton of friends in the first 3 months that we’ve been apart of this awesome group. The staff is amazing and they do such a great job of building relationships with the guests that I feel many people don’t even recognize. Thanks for the great times already and can’t wait for more!!

My husband & I had our wedding ceremony and reception at SCC! We would 100% recommend this to anyone who is considering having their wedding here! Everything went very smoothly with planning & the day of the wedding! All of our guests had an amazing time, loved the food, and enjoyed the staff at SCC!

As a wedding photographer, I have worked at SCC several times over the years and I can't say enough good things about it! My couples always seem so happy with the space and the customer service. The windows in both the hall and getting ready rooms make for great lighting, and being able to walk the grounds of the golf course means we get some beautiful photos!

If you’re getting married in the Toledo area, you must check out Sylvania Country Club. Chelsea went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day; she is the best! She was always responsive and helpful in answering our many questions over the past 2 years of planning. The getting ready areas are better than any other venue you will find. We had 3 full size rooms to hang out in and get ready. More than enough space for our wedding party and vendors. There was a dressing room specifically for men and women. There was a huge mirror in the women’s dressing room for our hair and makeup vendors to set up shop as well. The venue itself is beautiful. The golf course is amazing- they give you a free round for up to 4 people when you book with them. One of the best courses I’ve ever played in my life. We had our ceremony outside on the lawn and it looked amazing. We utilized the patio for happy hour and the ballroom for the reception. Our guests commented all night how awesome every space was. The food was immaculate, and the drinks were strong. We had so many compliments on food and beverage. Everything was prepared to perfection and the staff was very kind to us and our guests. They even packaged up a full meal for us to eat at the hotel when we got back. SCC also partners with Wingate by Wyndham Sylvania/Toledo to give the couple a free room on their wedding night. My wife and I truly believe we picked the best venue for our wedding. We would recommend it 10 out of 10 times to anyone getting married in Toledo!
