Toledo Sailing Club

Pleasant club and atmosphere, good food and friendly people.

Always a good time.

If you're not a member they have an annual open house called their "Homecoming" which is open to everyone. They charge a nominal entrance fee, and food and drinks are available for purchase at fair prices. It is a lot of fun. Entertainment is either a band or DJ. Lively crowd. It's a boat club, so many of the people are drinking heavily. But, it's all under control. It's a good opportunity to hang out down by the water, and Toledo has done a very poor job of developing restaurant and bar facilities on the river. Why? No one seems to know. The riverfront is particularly nice now that Maumee is no longer dumping their raw sewage into the river.

Great club! Friendly people, inexpensive drinks and a really cool party room available for rent. If I lived in Toledo, I would definitely join.

Parties and people are awesome. People always friendly, nice and helpful. Great docks and great views from the clubhouse deck. Always nice to sit out there with a drink and overlook the river. They have activities throughout year that are open to the public as well.
