Great course. They members are very friendly and socially interactive.

We used to host parties there filled with joy, laughter, and a real sense of community. Walnut Grove has been a beloved part of our summers for years—it always felt like a welcoming, family-friendly space. Since the current pool manager took over, though, the atmosphere has shifted. Her tone is consistently stern and tense, and she’s often quick to correct or get on people about things, even when it feels unnecessary. It creates an uncomfortable energy that makes it hard to relax or enjoy being there. It no longer feels like the friendly, easygoing place it once was.

We chose not to renew our membership this year largely due to the behavior of the pool manager. Every year we’ve attended—whether as guests or paying members—her negativity has been a consistent issue. She regularly yells at the children, often over minor things, and does so loudly and publicly in front of parents and other guests. It’s not just occasional—it’s an all-day, ongoing presence that everyone at the pool sees and hears. What should be a fun, family-friendly environment ends up feeling tense and uncomfortable because of her harsh tone.

Attended event a couple of months ago. The service was somewhat lacking. Stopped by the speak to golf pro also months back and it was not a stellar impression. Figured they would want to impress me as a prospective member but I was wrong.
