Fun 18 hole course. Great food and great staff! Love being a member here!

Customer service in the pro shop and at the grill was excellent. Fairways were in above average condition but the bunkers were poorly maintained and mostly mud. The greens were in horrible shape. More than half of the greens had 60 to 70% dead areas where they had painted the bare areas green. 3 greens had about 10% bare areas the remainder had at least 25% damage. The sad thing is that the course is a challenging course with narrow fairways, water hazards and well layed out holes. The poor greens ruined an otherwise enjoyable experience. I can't imagine that the members are happy with the extremely poor conditions.

This course has a lot of potential. Price for a non-member is a little steep ($100+) for the condition of the greens. The course it’s self is narrow and challenging. Nice restaurant, club house, and facilities. The ponds are half full, sand traps are more dirt than sand, and it looks as though they have lost their greens. I would play again if the greens are in better condition.

My husband and I have been members of the Trails since 2007. During our membership they have done many improvements, including recently updating the interior of the club house. But what has been most notable is the condition of the course! It looks amazing this year! I inquired and was told they hired a new caretaker a year ago for the golf course and it absolutely shows! (I've also recently heard a gentleman say that he has been a member for almost 30 years and the course has never looked better.) If you haven't been in a couple of years, I would definitely suggest coming again. We ate there this past Sunday evening and the food was great! We usually only go during special events but recently we have been going once a week for dinner. Dining is open to the public, you don't have to have a membership to enjoy lunch or dinner. I would definitely recommend coming to check out the course and have a bite to eat! It's reasonably priced too! (Also, definitely try the Club Special, its my favorite drink.)

I love the Trails! The course is in amazing condition and you can really tell the owners have invested in it the last few years. They hired a new superintendent recently and its made a big difference. Every bit as nice as the other private courses and OU. The food in the restaurant is really good too, and the service is always great.
