Green Oaks Country Club: Green Oaks

Had the opportunity to play here. The course was in great shape. Good practice facility also.

We held a large family celebration here this evening and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff were responsive and excellent to work with, answering all my questions and offering ideas that made our event memorable. The food was excellent (DO NOT MISS the brisket and the salted caramel bread pudding). The facility is lovely and well appointed. I am always stressed when planning events like this but they truly made it a relaxing experience even for me lol

I’m not a member but I have been able to play here a few times. The bunkers could use some work, but the rest of the course is consistently in great shape.

We just became new members. The golf course is in fantastic condition. The members are super friendly. Also enjoying fine tuning my golf swing w/ Wanda.

LOOK NO FURTHER FOR A PERFECT WEDDING!! My now HUSBAND and I started planning our wedding in May of 2022, and we just got married this past weekend! We looked at about 6 different venues, including 3 different country clubs, but when we met Bill Steen, we instantly knew this was the venue for us. He is INCREDIBLE! We are 23 years old and had a limited budget, and Bill worked with his top-tier chef, Chef Walter, to customize a dinner and bar package that worked perfectly for us and our budget. At every turn, Green Oaks went above and beyond. Bill is extremely responsive and will reply quickly to everything you send his way (trust me, I sent SO MANY looong emails) in a detailed and caring manner. He worked with us to figure out a layout, a timeline, and even recommended our DJ (who was awesome!!). He met with us and our families numerous times in the planning and setting up process, and he was so generous and helpful throughout. Bill made us feel right at home in the club, and his staff is just as amazing as he is! For food, we did 3 passed appetizers and a buffet style meal, and our guests RAVED about the spread. Chef Walter is so talented!! We even had a lovely tasting beforehand with an immaculately dressed table where we were waited on hand and foot and every request we made was completely fulfilled! We did 2 bars and 2 signature cocktails, which came out delicious, and the bartenders were absolutely AMAZING and made drinks nice and strong for all our guests! They were so much fun and even danced, which people LOVED! Elain and Kurt will have your guests partying all night long!!! The ballroom itself came out gorgeous, and the flow of the space is perfect for a party. Having the additional space of the back balcony and the terrace room is a game changer that other country clubs don’t offer! Jake was a SUPERHERO when it came to setting up and running the event! We ended up needing extra tables for our cookies and for some signage, and he helped us right away. He was so conscientious and always asking what he could do for us! For pictures, Bill and a member of his golf course staff drove us and our photographers up to the most beautiful overlook for breathtaking pictures with the river. We ended up needing an extra golf cart for our 2nd shooter, and Bill immediately accommodated that. He and his staff member were so patient and complimentary while driving us all over the course for our perfect photos! Bill and his staff went above and beyond in truly COUNTLESS ways for us. He has truly become a great friend to us throughout this process, and we wish we could do it all over again. With that being said, stop reading this and GO BOOK WITH GREEN OAKS!!!
