We had our parents' 50th wedding anniversary party here back in April - the planning, service, communication, & event space was perfect! We were able to have the indoor fireplace area as well as the beautiful covered patio bar area. Mark, Pat, & the staff at SCC knocked it out of the park!

Played in a GAP event, EXCELLENT course, layout, conditions. Interesting architecturally and you'll likely play 5-6 strokes better your second round. People are lucky to have this as a home track. Can confirm other reviews that, if you're not familiar with the greens and get in the wrong spots? You're going to putt off a green (or 2) Still fun!!!

I recently attended a wedding at the Schuylkill Country Club, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. Dinner was served over an hour late, throwing off the entire schedule, and the staff, unfortunately, were rude and unprofessional throughout the evening. There was only one bar open, which led to long lines, and they shut it down from 6-7 pm for ‘dinner service,’ yet dinner didn’t arrive until 7:30 pm. To make matters worse, the bartenders were dismissive, and the filet mignon was severely overcooked—completely well done. The late dinner also meant the band, which the family paid a lot of money for, couldn’t start until 8 pm instead of 7 pm as planned. The leadership at the club was nowhere to be found, offered no explanation, and made no effort to address the delays or confusion. If you’re considering this venue for your wedding, I would seriously reconsider. The lack of organization, professionalism, and transparency made what should have been a special day incredibly frustrating.

As a former member, course conditions are not what I would expect from a private course. Sand traps are full of stones and basically unplayable. Poor drainage leaves puddles in traps for days when there’s rain. Overall course drainage is poor, soggy ground is a regular on this course. I decided to leave this club because it was embarrassing taking guests there and having to explain these poor conditions. Honestly public courses have better traps and drainage.

Very nice track. A good test of golf. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Beware you may 4 putt one or two of these greens if you're not familiar with them. Added to the fun and excitement. Nice club.
