Staff is always very helpful, one of the most beautiful places around here.

Had my wedding here. Although the location itself was beautiful, it was unprofessional at best. Let me explain. When booking I was told I'd have full reign of venue on my wedding day. I'd have golf carts as many as needed as long as needed. No time limit. That was all a lie. On my wedding day in the room right next to mine they booked a funeral luncheon. I did NOT have the whole venue. Due to the double booking I was limited to how many times I could go to the bridal suite (downstairs) or the air bnb (upstairs) which I needed access too. The manager came to us told us to limit traffic. Are you kidding me? Then when it was our cocktail hour and we went to take pictures, the golf carts weren't ready we waited 1.5 hours for them to get us the carts we needed which wasted an hour of my DJ time, reception time, and time with loved ones that were waiting on us. Then my DJ was repeatedly told to turn down music due to her other party and people at the club bar that was also open to public. It's a wedding people want to dance and have a good time but we were expected to stay docile and quiet. The manager whom was in charge of the wedding was dressed in sweatpants (totally unprofessional). Then the staff did not.even know what they were serving. When guests asked about what/how it was prepared they responded with I don't know. WHA??!!! The bar exceptionally expensive and watered down so much. When guests tried to visit the other bar that was open they were told they weren't allowed. After all of this I was overcharged by 700 dollars from what was written on my receipt and was only refunded 300 of it. She applied her own gratuity instead of allowing me to choose what they deserved which in my opinion would have been way less. My wedding was perfect because of the people in it and their to witness it but if I could choose a different venue I would have.

We recently had a wedding here and I can’t say enough nice things about Mary Jo and her staff. They went above and beyond to make the sure the experience was perfect! From the food to the photo opportunities to the table service to the price!! A perfect day!

The McLean County Republican Party was at Pennhills Club on April 7th. It was a very beautiful building and the perfect place for an event like this.
