One of my favorite hiking and outdoor locations! Also MOST active Sasquatch area I've ever been,have dozens of proofs!

Grass not cut or kept up with disappointing wasn't like this last year.

Great quiet place for getting away from the city. Just wish it had a bigger lake. Hanby doesn't lend itself for much more than fishing. I have a paddle boat I would like to bring with me. Does anyone what other lakes we might have access to?

I've lived/owned here 11 years. I like it very much. Occasionally I might have a complaint but at least I feel like if I write a letter to the association and the board it will be taken into consideration. Also the association does communicate well with the homeowners when important stuff is going on that we all need to be aware of or communicating back & forth about. The physical place is small compared to others, ungated, there is no security, and all the lots are not sold out which makes the houses feel more spaced out. But I like these facts. I don't like too many rules, control, crowds, and gates. Most of us here in the deep woods are pretty self sufficient. We know how to secure our own house. We know to stock up and plan ahead because its at least a 20 minute drive to a decent sized store. So you change your ways and modify your behavior. It's not the end of the world to do that. I like that there are some amenities but not so many that the dues are too high. I like that we dont put our trash out but instead take it directly to the compactor. It makes for more responsible human behavior, no unsightly cans, and NO badly behaving bears ! I did notice that my teenagers didn't seem to like it here but hey - teenagers are often disgruntled and demand razzle-dazzle. That aint here. It's all nature, nature, nature and I love it that way ! So if you're independant and love nature - come live here !

Nice place for our family get together. Swimming, tennis, basketball. The kids had a great time fishing.
