I don't always hit the links, but when I do, I prefer a place that delivers more value than a garage sale find! Holy Moley, Fort Jaxon is not just a golf course; it’s a family-friendly putting paradise that practically prints memories! I brought the whole crew—the Mrs., Jaxon, Lukas, and Kinsley—and we had an absolute ball. This place is a hole-in-one in my book, a real driver of joy for everyone. The courses here are as crisp as my freshest pair of New Balances, and the greens? Forget about it! You could practically see your reflection in them, which is perfect because a good photo op is always a smart investment in family history. The staff is simply fore-some, always ready with a smile and tips. They operate with such reliability; it's like they've never had a bogey in their lives! The kids loved the wide-open fairways, which let them practice their unexpected strokes of genius (and gave me material for some great dad jokes!). This establishment is built on value. Where else can you get this much fun and quality time? I even snagged a hat from the pro shop—visor and an inspirational quote, you know, the kind of purchase that says, "I'm here to have fun, and I'm also ready to tackle that honey-do list when I get home!" My badass off-road Toyota, Tank, was waiting patiently in the parking lot, ready to take us home after a stellar day. Fort Jaxon gets a massive five-star rating from this reviewer. Stay par for the course, my friends.

Our company recently hosted a golf tournament here. Nothing but good things to say about the course, staff & food/drinks. Getting on the base was easy, all things considered & there was plenty of parking.

This was my second time playing the courses at Fort Jackson. This time we played the wildcat course which was very challenging. It was a great layout. It had a lot of bunkers but no water on that particular course. It was still an extremely challenging layout and we had a lot of fun even though it was pouring down rain the whole time. Tee times are available on Golf Now.

One of the best Military golf courses I have ever played. Very well kept and very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Played this course on September 2nd 2023. Overall this is an outstanding course, especially for a military base. From my understanding they have two 18 hole courses. From the beginning the staff was very friendly and attentive. They even had a shuttle to take you and your bag to the driving range. The range and practice facilities were great and had complimentary golf balls on the range. As for the course itself the tee boxes could use some work. A few of them had barely any grass, just a lot of sand. The fairways were in great condition as well was the bunkers. The greens are extremely fast and make you read every putt. Some of the greens have some bumpy spots but nothing crazy. There are also a lot of elevation challenges and if you don't select the correct club you will pay the price. I hope I get a chance to place this course again in the future.
