Brays Island Plantation Golf Club, founded in 1987, is located in Sheldon, South Carolina. The designer of the course is renowned architect Ron Garl. The plantation was initially a working plantation in the 18th century known for rice and sea island cotton. The golf course was built within a natural and environmentally conscious framework ensuring a minimal effect on the land. Membership at Brays Island Plantation Golf Club is exclusive to property owners within the plantation. The course does not offer play to the general public.
