Lotta boat space, parking space, good place to fish, other activities also.

Absolutely love the property and the slips have a friend who lives here and looking for a boat ourselves to tie up and enjoy lake life year round

Something as simple as a kayak rental has never been so over complicated. I even called ahead of time to make sure they had them available. When I arrived and inquired in person the guy at the counter said even for an "all day" rental the kayaks have to be returned by 3pm the same day and cannot be paddled outside the immediate area of the dock. No exceptions which is exactly contrary to every other kayak rental at any other state park I've ever been to. Renting here isn't even worth the meager $8 an hour.

We rented a boat over the memorial day weekend. From the time I called to the time we picked up the boat, the service from the staff was outstanding! They were so helpful with putting together our day. The boats are newer and clean. We went all over the lake and only used a quarter tank of gas.

Excellent staff, especially Mickey down at the dock. He went over all the important points to operating a boat eventhough I already know all about them. The facilities were spotless including the marina. I highly reccomend this place to anyone wanting to spend a day on the Tennessee River.
