The premier golf and country club for US military officers and federal government officials, founded in 1924 in Arlington, Virginia. Two 18-hole championship golf courses, comprehensive athletic facilities, multiple dining venues, and the distinctive social world of Washington's military-government community. The two courses (Army and Navy, natch) have hosted numerous prestigious tournaments. Members include generals, admirals, Cabinet members, and senior intelligence officials.
