The course is well kept and the staff are amazing!

Love the people and the place! Just started lessons and thoroughly enjoyed the instructor and his cohorts. Had three instructors right there discussing my grip, stance and swing among a lot of other general golf knowledge to assist me getting out to play. Driving range is covered and I drove a bucket of balls (mostly) downrange while it was sprinkling. The balls are purchased by the bucket (small, medium, large) at the inside counter and the recipe pin is used at the dispenser near the driving range. Nice setup all around. Love the supporting veterans that work and keep this place running. Plan to update this after I actually play a round!

I've been coming here over a decade & I am amazed of the beautiful people, golf course conditions & price. Absolutely hands down a perfect track for all levels. My thanks goes out to all the volunteers. Also Jack Nicholas designed the back nine and refurbished the front so that says a lot. Thank you American Lake, you saved my life literally ❤️

Very rude guy at the front desk. I've been golfing there for over a year now. My sponsor just checked in 5 minutes prior to me , so as I went to check in and guy in green behind the counter was very short and said " Get your sponsor to check you in or you could go" (meaning you can leave) I mentioned I've been playing here with my sponsor for over a year. " He said I can get you barred from here. I can pull the book out if needed very rude. I get the rules , just treat people with dignity and respect man. Whatever frustrations your having in your own life, remember we are all people. Treat others as you want to be treated. I gave him a pass this time but next time if your rude like this , sounds like we'll have words man to man. Overall course great! Just be aware of the 1 rude guy at the counter who wants to exert his terrible days on you.

I love playing out there. Everyone is always friendly and the volunteers are great. Course is always well kept and very pristine. Greens roll real good and keep you guessing all the time. Will continue to be a member there!!!
