Love living here. This is a tight community with a lot of wonderful people. Amenities are nice (dock, pools, community center, etc) but the HOA fees are high. Still waiting to see if they will extend the land lease, but otherwise very happy here .

Had fun at the pool. Also enjoyed some Halibut tacos ! Thanks Joe

Update: 5/15/2024 - Our monthly HOA is now $670 plus the once a year extra payment…bringing our average monthly HOA to $725. We’ve lived here for 6 years. We love that our home is up against a green belt and just generally how safe we feel here. We have very kind neighbors. We got a great deal on our house, which is a huge reason we live here. We’ve never minded living on leased land. We get to do what we want with our yard. The only major difference that truly affects us is that any chopped trees technically belong to the tribe. Which is fine. They use the firewood for their elders. In the time we’ve lived here, our monthly HOA fee has gone from $350/month to $525/month. And we live on one of the lowest fee lots. Homes down on the water pay double what we pay. Both pools have been out of service for years, and if you’re behind on your HOA you can’t use them anyway. We used to have guards as well and those have also been gone for years. Our neighbors home was completely ransacked last year by burglars! There is A TON of drama here. The FB page is primarily people complaining or posting about peoples dogs who have gotten out, but I suspect most of the community doesn’t contribute to the drama. We do LOVE having a private beach, but it is so unkept and not stewarded well. The driftwood is out of control, the picnic tables are old and splintered. You used to be able to have fires down there, but no longer can since a few teenagers set off fireworks and caused a fire in the driftwood — which was never removed and is still there years later. I will say it’s overall very clean here. The roads are narrow, but well kept. There are NO sidewalks, but there is a walking gravel path in a part of the neighborhood. We have LOTS of deer and people aren’t supposed to feed them but they do. There are young families here, like us, but it’s mostly empty nesters and retirees and people moving here from King County. When friends ask me about moving here, I always tell them not to and explain about the HOA, the lease, and all the rules.

Pretty and quaint as well as quite. Local homes surround this tiny Marina making for a lovely place for retirees to live and enjoy the view. Not much else going on but it's cute enough for a nice drive.
