Milwaukee Yacht Club

This place is the epitome of bad culture. The leadership and board are abysmal. The service is terrible. It’s barely a functioning yacht club and as I learned, the junior’s program is a disaster. Why would you possibly pay more for this rundown poorly run club then you could for Chicago yacht club and many other superior organizations? Give yourself some credit and don’t waste your money here. The head of the yacht club wants to can it. This place has death spin written all over it. Avoid avoid avoid.

Came for a Sunfish regatta and left very impressed! Nice location and the staff was friendly

Update 24/25: As long as Kate Newton, new general manager is around, I’d stay away from this place. Seems like they have also had a difficult time engaging younger members, I think mainly due to their exorbitant member fees. _____________ Original review: One of the more higher end and welcoming yacht clubs on the Great Lakes. Delicious food year-round and beautiful views of the harbor and downtown Milwaukee!

04/04/25 The new chef, Mark Klinkowitz, has done an outstanding job with the menu! The quality and presentation of the food has been wonderful. We're looking forward to dining here more this summer!

Lovely place for a wedding! Nice mix of upscale and casual. Staff was all very professional and helpful. Very good food. Great bartenders. A lovely time was had by all!
