Our recent visit to Capon Springs confirmed again how special it is! Our family has been visiting for 67 years and Capon holds the same magic it did in 1958 when we first visited! Visiting Capon provides rest, relaxation, and quality time for family. There is a great abundance of activities for all ages. And the natural beauty is stunning! We love Capon and want to see it provide these family enriching gifts forever!

To call this place special is an understatement. The location is beautiful, the entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food is great, and the overall vibe of the resort is amazing. It was our first visit with 3 other families with kids and everyone loved it and enjoyed it in their own ways--so many options to do things, or not do anything and just enjoy the atmosphere.

In room 8 handicap room which was fabulous, providing everything I needed. The shower with fold down seat was very nice for bathing. Note, I never could get the hand held shower head to shower me sitting on the shower seat. No matter where I positioned it, it sprayed only on the wall, never on me without holding it in my hand. I remember in years past being served at the table the main food items, not a buffet in the hallway. Totally prefer the service at the table. Think you need to consider temperature before forcing everyone up the hill for dinner or lunch. Thursday night Oct 16 was tooo cold, and made it difficult to enjoy the food.

It's a rustic old school resort. The familes that manage Capon are all wonderful people. We have going to Capon for about 32 years to celebrate my Mother in laws birthday. My mother in law went with her parents.

A magical family vacation that manages to feel like a total throwback to the “good old times”. The baked goods are divine, the customer service is outstanding and the vibes are perfection. Added bonus, the kids ran free and feral and met a pack of kids they’re now calling their besties. Everyone is welcomed into the Capon family. I’ve never had so much time to spend with my spouse on a vacation. Our extended family lingered over meals and connected at the golf course. Everyone had a great time!
