Located just 40 minutes from Anchorage in the heart of the Mat-Su Valley golfers are treated to spectacular views of Pioneer Peak, the Matanuska River and Knik Glacier. Palmer Golf Course offers a peaceful moment to everyone walking the fairways. The links style layout has four sets of tees to challenge golfers of all abilities. There also is one of the finest practice facilities in the state with an all grass driving range and two practice greens. The 7300 yard, par 72, Championship course opened in 1990 and it's certainly on the of most scenic places to play the game of golf. Players won't forget the beautiful signature 6th hole, a beautiful par four offering stunning views of the Knik Glacier.
