How should I choose between MCP and the REST API?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) connects Clubs to compatible agents. The REST API lets you integrate Clubs into an application, backend, or automated workflow. Both access the same clubs directory. See their documentation for the tools and endpoints available through each interface
Does Clubs work with my agent or product?
Clubs works with compatible MCP clients through standard tool responses, and with products that call its REST API. Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok, Perplexity, OpenClaw, and Hermes each have setup steps on this page. Check the connection guide for your client
How does authentication work?
Connect to https://www.theprivateclubs.com/api/mcp from any compatible MCP client, or call the REST API for a programmatic or headless connection. Neither needs an account or an API key, and without one both return public club data with no fees. See the setup steps for your client
How does pricing work?
Members use Clubs free, and the MCP server and REST API are free for public club data. Plus, Pro, Elite, and Max plans for clubs, brands, and creators include monthly AI credits and team seats. See pricing for current plans and included usage
