Southport Golf Club

About the club

Southport Golf Club is one the Gold Coast’s most uniquely captivating golf destinations and has been designed to accommodate all levels of golfers and offers members a unique experience with the optimum level of genuine customer service, from personalized lockers and bag tags to those personal touches from professional staff. Southport Golf Club is an easy walking course with a mild amount of undulation with tree lined fairways and strategically placed ponds and lakes. All our fairways are beautifully manicured with Greenlees Park turf grass and our greens are 328 couch grass and roll consistently between 9-10 ft. The course starts with a reasonable par 5 and most golfers meander through the first nine holes comfortably. The back nine is where games are won or lost with “amen” corner commencing with the par 3, 14th hole. This is where Southport has held itself together in tight pennant matches. The back nine has been completely redeveloped over the past 15 years.
