The most exclusive private residential club in the Bahamas and one of the most exclusive in the Caribbean. Founded in 1954 by Canadian mining magnate E.P. Taylor on the western tip of New Providence Island. A gated 1,000-acre private community of 300 estate homes — each requiring club approval to purchase. Initiation is by invitation only, vetted by a membership committee of extraordinary discretion. Members have included Sean Connery, Arthur Hailey, and the founders of some of the world's largest corporations. The golf course, beach club, and harbor facilities are world-class.
