Soho House is a members' club group for people working in the creative industries. Founder Nick Jones opened the first House in 1995 above his restaurant, Cafe Boheme, in a Georgian house in London's Soho. Its Houses combine places to eat, drink, work, exercise and stay, with screening rooms and an art collection of more than 8,000 works.

Soho House São Paulo is in the Bela Vista neighbourhood near Avenida Paulista, within Cidade Matarazzo, an Italianate complex from the 20th century set among tropical gardens. It was the first Soho House in South America. The House has club areas, outdoor spaces, a rooftop pool and 32 bedrooms, from Tiny rooms to a two-bedroom suite, with interiors by local Brazilian artists. A Soho Health Club offers cardio and strength equipment, and the menus pair House favourites with modern Brazilian dishes.
