Bluff Pointe Golf Course and Learning Center formally known as Islewood is under new ownership. This golf course has been here since 1989 the inception by Gary Hooper. The San Joaquin River conversancy and ecological preserve is adjacent to the San Joaquin River , with natural landscape and wild life. This facility is an all grass facility, with a new and improved executive 9 hole golf course, a 2 acre short game facility and a huge hitting area for its driving range and new targets. You will find that the grounds are being improved on a daily basis from a better road, better club house,better golf balls, bigger short game and putting greens, one of the valleys premier practice and learning facilities in California. The course has 4 par 4's and 5 par 3's. "Bring your Driver" Bluff Pointe learning center is also home to First Tee of Fresno where many youngsters are learning golf etiquette, and learning golf while having fun.
