Cameron Park Country Club
About the club
Opened for play in 1965, Cameron Park Country Club was designed by Bert Stamps. Stamps worked under prominent golf course architects William Bell and Robert Trent Jones before establishing his own firm. Many of his projects are based in Northern California, including Cameron Park Country Club. He designed the course with the intention to create "a true test of golf, with thought required on every shot", according to a 1965 Sacramento Bee article. The club offers different membership categories, including Golf, Social, and Junior Executive. Non-members may only access the course if invited by a club member.
