Alister MacKenzie's masterpiece — considered by many to be the most beautiful golf course in the world. The 16th hole at Cypress Point, requiring a carry over the Pacific Ocean from tee to green, is the most photographed golf hole on Earth. Founded in 1928 with approximately 250 members. The Pebble Beach peninsula's most exclusive address. Cypress Point withdrew from the PGA Tour in 1991 rather than change its membership policies — the ultimate statement of private club independence. No public access has ever been granted.
