Orinda Country Club was founded in 1924 in the city of Orinda, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Designed by renowned Scottish golf course architect Willie Watson, it became one of the most challenging and beautiful courses in Northern California. Orinda Country Club is a private club open to members and their guests. Prospective members must be sponsored by current members.

Parents were long time members, including family holiday dinners and Sunday brunch upstairs. However today I was told I couldn’t walk in, carrying a 15 pound dog, just to quickly look at the Christmas decorations and then leave to continue my walk. The preciousness isn’t appreciated or justified.

Very good tennis courts and plenty of Parking. There are also nice club facilities including well maintained restrooms, coffee shop
