Fabulous building and wonderful deco interiors. True blue 20's style of American architecture. Very Great Gatsby like

We recently hosted an event at the City Club of San Francisco, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning, with a classic elegance that made for the perfect atmosphere. The staff was professional, accommodating, and made everything run seamlessly. Highly recommend for any special event!

My wife and I were scheduled to attend a dinner hosted by our wine club on Thursday, 2/7. The first course on the menu was Dungeness crab cakes. My wife has a life-threatening allergy to crustaceans. We contacted the City Club of San Francisco to inform them of my wife's allergy so that they could prevent cross-contamination in the kitchen and give her another option for the first course. This business contacted us and told us that they would be refunding our money; there was no option for my wife's allergy to be accommodated. It is shocking that a place like The City Club of San Francisco could not accommodate a common allergy (which many restaurants do for us). I would not recommend eating at this establishment.
