Agile Golf and Country Club

About the club

With a lovely forested setting near the port city of Zhuhai, the Agile is one of the country's top golf resorts, being part of the Agile Group real estate conglomerate. The opulence is reflected in the high-end residences amid which the course is set and the abundant amenities at the clubhouse and accompanying hotel that overlooks the green of the final hole; needless to say the upkeep is outstanding. The "A Course" here has a charming design in the American style, with eye-catching topography and architectural features and abundant water hazards. Mark Hollinger of the JMP Design Group developed a course that is a regional favorite owing to its excellent layout and attractive undulations. Despite the tropical climate, the particularly fine Bermuda grass here is kept in top condition. The signature hole is perhaps the par 4 8th, which offers a variety of plays off the tee and some superb bunkering.
