About the club

The Faldo lies in a lovely valley at the midpoint between the Mission Hills' Dongguan and Shenzehn complexes, and does not suffer from the press of residences that crowd the club's 10 other courses. The clubhouse here, which also serves the nearby Dye Course, is cozier than the behemoths that accommodate those courses. But what sets the Faldo apart, and explains its popularity, is the way it welcomes golfers of any skill level. Like the TPC Sawgrass that hosts the Players Championship in Florida, the Faldo serves as the tournament course, though it is friendlier owing to the generous landing areas. The bunkers are outstanding, as is the up-and-down contouring. The final holes are especially satisfying: the par 3 16th features a green set on an island, and the par 4 17th and par 5 18th round things off nicely. The Faldo Series Asia Grand Final attracts the best in Asia every year.
