About the club

The Lakeview, less than a half our from downtown Kunming, is the top course that Nick Faldo has designed in China, one that earns a place on nearly every list of outstanding Chinese courses. With Sleeping Beauty Mountain as a backdrop, Faldo created a trying and thought-provoking test of golf that is particularly notable for its eye-catching bunkers, nearly a hundred of which are formed out of the region's bright white sand. The challenge goes well beyond the bunkering, though, and it is on greens where skilled players will enjoy the chance to really shine. As is typical around Kunming, Lakeview is a course that uses even, bent-grass greens (always in top shape), which, along with striking water hazards not player will forget. The complex also includes a top-notch driving range and short game practice area, not to mention a great clubhouse that surveys the final hole.
