First, and the biggest reason, is golf. We have paid the extra money for the “summit” membership, and it seems useless. It’s nearly impossible to get a tee time at Pradera before 3pm. I can play alone with another group in some cases, but if I want to book for 2 people, its 3 or later. Its 100% impossible to get a foursome there. I have played there zero times this year. In regard to Pinery and Pradera, you all advertise 45 holes of golf. You can take the 18 off for Pradera, and you only get one or the other at Pinery (mountain or Lake/Valley). In some cases, you can book a mountain and Lake, but I still have yet to get a Valley/Mountain. I thought I would be able to choose which 9 I wanted to play, but that’s not the case. It feels like the pro shop gets frustrated when I even ask. So its really not even close to 45 holes. I mean, they have 45, but its rare that we get to play them. The #1 reason we chose to come here was for 45 holes of golf at 2 clubs. Second, food and beverage. The food and beverage are VERY inconsistent. There seems to be a ton of turnover, so the service can be poor at times. The food is all over the map. We have some great meals at the club, but I’ve also received a chicken sandwich that was about half cooked…..amongst many other poor-quality items. The drinks are never the same. You can order a drink from 5 bartenders and get 5 different drinks. When we joined, we assumed the food and drink would be outstanding, and its just never come close to those expectations. When you pay as much as all of us do, exceptional food/drinks/service should be the minimum expectation With all of this said, we canceled our membership after only 15 months.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t say enough great things about The Pinery Country Club. I have a Summit membership with my home club at Pradera, but when I had a couple of clients coming into town, Pradera showed no interest in helping me get a tee time. I decided to check with The Pinery, and the difference was night and day. The Pinery was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to get me and my clients on the course last minute. Austin, in particular, was outstanding, professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. His customer service made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. If you’re looking for a club that truly values its members and guests, The Pinery delivers. I’ll definitely be recommending them and looking forward to playing here again.

Love the country club pool. I just wish they would open up the adult pool for access whenever the gym is open - it could be a great place to exercise between 8am and 10am before usual opening hours!

The course itself is beautiful. Facilities are beautiful. However, I dont think special events is their thing. I attended an event in the White tent here recently. The food was terrible. Our group was supposed to be provided with glass plates and dishes but instead we had flimsy paper plates and plastic forks for a bbq dinner that was burnt and tough. The bathrooms and bar were a short walk up the hill in the main restaurant, but our group had many older ladies in high heels. It was not ideal. Eventually a small bar cart was brought to the tent but it was so dark outside by that time, people could hardly see. I also saw a manager beerate an employee right in front of me while I was on a golf cart; it was awkward and unprofessional. I would golf here but I would never plan a special event here.
