Astoria Golf Resort Cihelny

The project plans for this championship course have been prepared by the world-renowned Gary Player Design Company. The site includes a par 27 9-hole Golf Academy (pitch and putt) course, a Putting Green and a covered Driving Range which, along with the practice bunkers and greens form one of the most extensive training resorts in Europe. The total course length was 5 674 meters with Par 70, and since 2013 is now Par 72 with a length of 6,005m. The course is laid out on the flood pain of the river Tepla with holes 1st to 5th plus the 18th located higher up the side of the valley and the remaining holes routed along the banks of the meandering river.
