Fisher Island Club & Resort was established in 1925 by Carl Fisher, a real estate businessperson, on Fisher Island, a 216-acre private residential island located just off the mainland of southern Florida. The golf course, originally designed as a 9-hole, par-35 course, was upgraded and redesigned by P.B Dye in 1999. Fisher Island Club is a private members-only club.
