About the club
The Floridian National Golf Club, founded in 1996, was originally designed by South African professional golfer Gary Player. In 2010, the club was purchased by Houston businessman Jim Crane, who embarked on an extensive renovation of the course and facilities. The renovation, spearheaded by Tom Fazio, resulted in a complete redesign of the course, keeping only the original routing. The Floridian National Golf Club is a private facility. Membership is by invitation only and limited to a small number of members. No public play is available.
