Hawkstone Country Club, originally established as Gainesville Golf and Country Club, was founded in 1974 in Gainesville, FL. The course was designed by famed golf course architect, George Cobb. Known for his thoughtful use of the natural landscape and acute awareness of playability for all skill levels, Cobb made Hawkstone a destination for local golf enthusiasts. Membership at Hawkstone Country Club is by invitation only. Guests may use the course if accompanied by a member. The Club includes golf, dining, and recreational facilities.
